Why am I asked for my Tax information when redeeming?

You are being asked to provide your Tax Information because our system has identified that you are close to or have redeemed for $600 or more in awards during the calendar year. The IRS requires us to report this information to them by the deadline each year.

When our system detects that your redemption total is close to the $600 threshold, you will be prompted to provide this information during the redemption process. You must fill in all the required information and click ‘Save’ in order to proceed with your order.

You may also provide/update your Tax information at any time convenient for you by following the steps below:
1. Login to your account
2. Click on Rewards
3. Click on Redeem Now
3. Click on My Account
4. Click on ‘Click To Edit Tax Info’
5. Fill in all required information
6. Click ‘Save’

Once you have provided the required information, a 1099 form will be sent to you via postal mail, before the deadline during tax season, to use when filing your taxes.
